I hate how people call Sojourn a bland character.
She's not bland, she's just mentally stable.
Like this women willingly retired, she has a dog, a hinted at partner, a healthy relationship with her family. She's just living her best life!!
I feel like her having her shit together is a nice contrast to everyone else, Lifeweaver is much of the same. I feel like people look at stories like these and expect everyone to be traumatised, everyone to have huge story relevant pasts that shape the world, but I enjoy characters like Sojourn who are just doing the right thing because it's the right thing.
I recently got her book so it got me thinking about her character.
